Destri Lodge is a unique property located within the Kamonande Private Nature Reserve in South Africa, in the UNESCO-listed Waterberg region.

The natural environment of the Waterberg region, rich in water bodies and pristine vegetation, creates ideal conditions for numerous animal and bird species. Within the reserve, you can encounter giraffes, zebras, hyenas, monkeys, and numerous antelope species in their natural habitat.
Two unique spaces amidst African nature
Destri Lodge comprises two unique properties located within a private nature reserve. Each offers a comfortable stay, complete privacy, and direct contact with nature.
Destri Hacienda
Guests can enjoy five comfortable rooms, each with a private bathroom, ensuring comfort and relaxation throughout their stay.
It features a recreation area with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, billiards and snooker tables, foosball, air hockey, and darts, as well as a lounge with a bar, a dining room serving Mexican cuisine, and a charming boma with a barbecue area.
Destri Villa
The house features a living room with a TV and kitchen, five double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a partially covered terrace with sun loungers, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi.
Guests have access to two safari vehicles with experienced drivers/guides who lead safaris within the reserve.

Swimming pool and jacuzzi
Private relaxation areas allow you to unwind after a day spent at the reserve. Pools and jacuzzis located on terraces create the perfect place to unwind and spend time together.

Each space is equipped with a comfortable and convenient stay in mind. Guests have access to private bathrooms, common areas, high-speed internet, multimedia amenities, and modern relaxation areas.
Terraces with a view
The expansive terraces have been designed to be as close to nature as possible. They’re a perfect place for morning coffee, evening relaxation, and observing the African landscape at any time of day.
Safari jeeps
Guests have access to specially equipped safari vehicles with experienced drivers/guides who lead safaris within the reserve.
You can also freely walk around the immediate area around the lodge, but further exploration of the reserve is by safari vehicle only.

Yes, guests can travel around the reserve in specially prepared safari vehicles. These vehicles are driven exclusively by experienced drivers/guide.
You can also enjoy walks in the immediate vicinity of the lodge. However, due to the nature of the reserve, further travel within the reserve is by safari vehicle only.
